New CD: E. Elgar

The firm Bomba-Piter (Saint-Petersburg) has issued a CD of works by Edward Edgar: Serenade, Op. 20, and Variations on an Original Theme ("Enigma"), Op. 36, recorded by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra, Named after E. F. Svetlanov, under the direction of Mark Gorenstein. The recording was made during a live concert at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, on 28 November 2007. (Sound Engineer: Maria Soboleva)
