Spanish tour

On 18 October 2011, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, Named after E. F. Svetlanov starts its Spanish tour. The orchestra will visit the cities of Vigo, Pontevedra, and Santiago de Compostela, where it will perform works by P. Tchaikovsky: Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, Symphony No. 5, and Three Pieces from Incidental Music to the A. Ostrovsky's "Snow Maiden." Featured soloist for the tour is the laureate of international competitions Ivan Pochekin (Violin). Merited Artist of Russia Alexander Slutsky will conduct.
